Anxiety And Egoity

Clinicians often consider anxiety to be a primary diagnosis. In my experience (both personally and professionally) anxiety is also a symptom of an underlying disorder: egoity. By which I mean an over attachment to the experience of a separate self. A self disconnected from other selves and from the world at large.
My colleagues and I took up the relationship between egoity and anxiety in a recent meeting of our weekly online training program, All Things CBT. We invite you to listen in on our conversation.
