Expert advice '"in your pocket" as you work.

Do you find yourself “winging it” in your work, not sure how best to respond to challenging clinical scenarios? Are you in solo practice, without ready access to colleagues with whom to consult? Do you work in a group setting that lacks a CBT orientation? Or do you simply want to deepen your understanding of CBT and how you can apply it in your own life?

You Don’t Have To Go It Alone! It can be challenging to get reliable answers to your Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy questions.

You could go online searching for answers or look through your graduate school textbooks. You might reach out to a colleague or supervisor, but they may be even less CBT savvy than yourself. You could buy an hour of 1:1 consultation, but that can get expensive, especially if you have but one or two easily answered questions. Or you might, once again, “go it alone” and hope for the best.

Daniel Mintie, LCSW For three decades I’ve practiced, taught and written about integrative approaches to wellness

As I myself experience all the personal and professional challenges my patients and students bring to me, I regularly utilize cognitive, behavioral and integrative medicine methods in my daily life. Over three decades I’ve grown ever-more grateful for these tools' powerful presence in my life and in the lives of countless patients, colleagues and students. I'm very excited about a recent new direction in my work: teaching basic cognitive-behavioral therapy theory and practice to laypeople worldwide who then share these tools in their own communities. Called "Low-Intensity CBT," this approach offers access to these life-giving tools to communities often denied such care.

I’ve written four books, am an adjunct professor at Georgetown University's School of Medicine, and have taught cognitive-behavioral therapy at many other universities and training centers worldwide. These include the University of New Mexico; Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute & Research Center in Lonavla, India; The University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw, Poland; the Academic College Of Israel in Ramat-Gan; the Feeling Good Institute in Mountain View, California; Retorno Treatment Center in Shemesh, Israel; the National Institute For Mental Health And Neuroscience in Bangalore, India; Mexico City’s Universidad Hebraica; Sheth P.T. Mahila College in Surat, India; and the Zentrum fur Psychotherapie in Stuttgart, Germany.

I am in my first year of private practice and started learning TEAM CBT a couple years ago. I attended some consultation groups prior to joining All Things CBT and found certain needs unmet. All Things CBT helps me troubleshoot clinical issues and build the "art" piece into my work. When I'm stuck with a patient I can receive expert consultation then go back to my patient with new directions in mind. Both the leaders and subscribers to All Things CBT always bring a wealth of information in this regard. Thank you thank you thank you for this service

I’m a layperson. Is this program right for me?

All Things CBT is open to anyone, including therapists, students, and laypeople interested in deepening their understanding of cognitive-behavioral therapy. If you fit into any of these categories, there’s a good chance All Things CBT is for you.

I’m concerned about privacy.

We are too! All Things CBT content is available only through our password-protected membership area. Weekly live webinars are available only to paid members. Any question may be submitted anonymously, and only audio recordings of sessions are saved.

Sounds good, but I’m already overbooked!

You may participate in All Things CBT at whatever level fits your needs. Some weeks you'll want to participate live in the webinar. Other weeks you may prefer to post a question and listen to the audio recording at your convenience. There are no expectations or requirements about any particular level of participation.

If our approach sounds like a fit for you, we'd love to have you to give All Things CBT a try!
